A blue hand-crafted wood caravan perches in a private tropical garden in a small town called Ajijic, Mexico. For $50 a night, guests can relax in chaise lounges in the garden, watch a DVD while laying in a king-size bed and even use the internet with WIFI.
Or stay in a treehouse in Puerto Rico for $110 a night. Located just minutes from the Caribbean Beach, two treehouses stand on 12 acres surrounded by ancient mango trees and a network of paths. Wake up in a queen-size bed draped in mosquito net, with an incredible view.
For $400, you can sleep in a palm-thatched cabin floating on stilts on Banderas Bay in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Each cabin has a hammock, a private terrace, hot water in a private bedroom and a sitting area.
Camp in a prospector-style tent with a king-size bed, in-floor heating and an indoor/outdoor shower in the Clayoquot Wilderness Resort in British Columbia, Canada. For upwards of $5,000, the tents feature thermostat-controlled propane wood stoves, opulent rugs, silver and china, antique furnishings and candles.
